Chris Emond Live @ Mercury Lounge, June 6

In his debut New York show, Chris Emond’s four piece band opened for Sam Worley (Surfliner), supported by Diva Smith.

Emond’s band consisted of collaborators Riya Mahesh (Quiet Light) on synths and background vocals, Garrett Winston (carwash, Postcard Boy, Holidays in United States) on guitar, and Kali Flanagan (Superfan) on bass. In a stripped back, reverb drenched set, the group impressed with tracks from Emond’s catalog and tested out new tunes.
